Meet the Dentist

Dr. Stephen C. Chadwick was born in Camden, SC. Grew up in Delaware and Germany, but came back to the south to spend his adult life!! He graduated from Salisbury University in 1989, and obtained his doctorate in dentistry from MUSC in 1994. He and his wife of 19 years live in Mt. Pleasant with their three children. He has received advanced training in CEREC dentistry and Laser dentistry, and continues to stay current by attending as many continuing education programs as possible. He enjoys digital photography and bass fishing.

Dr. Johan I. Kolmodin is originally from Gothenburg, Sweden. He came to Charleston , South Carolina in 1987 where he earned a bachelors of Science degree at College of Charleston. He entered dental school at Medical University of South Carolina and graduated with honors. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the South Carolina Dental Association. When he is not doing dentistry he enjoys cooking, music, movies, fishing, outdoor activities, traveling, volunteering for the less fortunate, and spending time with his dogs Muscles and Alfie.

Dr. Michael Healey is the dentist at our Remount Dental location. He is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and is the youngest of nine children. Dr. Healey received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Vanderbilt on a football scholarship and was the top rated quarterback in the SEC in 1990. While in school he studied economics. After a successful nine years in the business world, Dr. Healey decided to head back to school. He received his dental medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Healey enjoys all aspects of dentistry including preventative care, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, cosmetic, and pediatric dentistry. He is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association and the American Dental Association. His hobbies include golf, running, tennis, and mountain biking. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Jill, and sons, Brendan and Stas.
